HOPE

I met Hope a couple of years ago on a small site. She would follow my poetry and we became dear friends.Hope is from Israel and is working very hard at the university to master English. I asked her on my site because she has earned the right to be here, not because she's my friend.

Three words

Three words can't seem to be uttered
I love you, why does it hurt?!
I'm shattered like broken glass
Can't get gathered, no matter how to try
Up all night counting the stars
You awaken in me emotions
That have been locked for so long

You rob my heart and soul
I love you
Three words can't seem to be disclosed
Afraid you would walk away

Like a wounded bird with no wings
Scared of another heart break

Loving you might be a risk
Living in another circle of flames
I'm falling apart, take my hand
Comfort me to believe in you
The man of my dreams

I want to be in your arms
Hugging kissing all night
Nothing will separate us
Why does it hurt so much?!

You turned my days into nights
steal every breath I take
I'm full of passion, love, caring
Feel the same?

damage you caused to my soul
You walked away without a word,
filled my heart with sadness
How could I be so blind?!
Was loving you was a crime?!

How could you hurt me so much!?
Why didn't you see the love in me?
The moon and the stars witness
every tear I drop, every painful night.
You have lost me, there is no way back.
I loved you with all of my heart

I won't stop crying, not tonight.
One day you will come back to me
Expecting open arms with warm hugs.
Don't know what the biggest lie is
trusting you or thinking you are the one

leaving me no choice. But to shut the door
loving you is like drowning in the sea
the deeper it gets the more I lose breath.
Your deceiving, dishonesty blew it all,
burnt the sweet picture I have drawn.


You killed the hope, the serenity inside me.
The memories we had all have vanished in a fog,
no word could justify what you put me through.
I loved you with all of my heart, it's a fact
Babe, you lost me and there is no way back
